TravelingBnB will pick you up at your home and load your gear, clothing, snacks, sodas and alcoholic beverages, into the traveling vacation home. The first night will be spent in Wyoming PA. The second day you arrive and begin your tour with a two night stay at Gettysburg Battlefield Resort. Regardless of the time of day that we arrive at Gettysburg, your first stop should be the Museum and Visitor Center. The Film, Cyclorama, and Museum experience is $10 for youth, and $14 for adults. This informative overview can take up to two or three hours. Following the overview, TravelingBnB has a self-guided audio tour of the Battlefield which can take up to 2-3 hours to complete especially if you get out of the motor home to walk to the monuments. A fun way to end the second day is to take a walking tour of the haunted areas within the town. This tour allows the extremely sensitive to interact with some of the fallen soldiers.
We will leave the battlefield and stop for a night in Hershey PA to get a tour of the plant and a bit of a break from all the history that was thrown at us in Gettysburg. Following the sweet stop we spend the next two nights in Lancaster, PA. The Mennonite Information Center offers step-on guides for a personal tour through Lancaster County. Once you’ve had an overview, there are multiple tours available from bike – to Helicopter. Our printed copy of DiscoverLancaster. com can help you decide which are best for you. There are many restaurants and shops to purchase food stuffs, (don’t forget you have a refrigerator in the RV to safely store your finds until you get home). And food isn’t the only thing available in Lancaster county.
Our meal plan will provide Breakfast and Lunch and Dinner until we reach Lancaster. While there you’ll receive Breakfast only (as the amazing choices available are so worth the tasting). You will be provided Menu’s for you to select your TravelingBnB choices before we leave on the trip.
